When you register with English Mastery, we collect personal information such as your full name, contact details (email and/or phone number), age or grade level, language proficiency, educational needs, and any academic goals or preferences you share with us. This information is collected directly from you and is used strictly for the purpose of planning, personalizing, and delivering effective tutoring lessons.

Access to this information is limited solely to the owner and primary tutor of English Mastery (Shiesta Afzal). This access exists only to support your learning journey, track progress, create customized lesson plans, and communicate directly with you or your guardian regarding scheduling, feedback, or service updates.

Personal data is never used for any purpose outside of teaching and internal administration.

What it includes

All information is stored securely, whether digitally (password-protected and encrypted cloud storage) or physically. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to third parties under any circumstances, unless legally required by law enforcement or government regulations.

English Mastery may collect and store session notes and assessment data to better understand a student’s academic growth and tailor future lessons accordingly. Occasionally, de-identified and aggregated data (e.g., general improvement trends or anonymized examples) may be used to enhance curriculum materials or service design—no identifying details are ever included in such cases.

Clients (or parents/guardians, in the case of minors) have the right to request access to their personal data at any time, as well as the right to correct, update, or delete their records. We will retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill its intended teaching purposes or as required by applicable law (e.g., tax or recordkeeping obligations).
